Orders will not ship until payment has been cleared. If for any reason you experience a problem please contact us and we will happily work with you to find a solution.
All orders are shipped with CANADA POST and as such all shipping rates are as provided by Canada Post. We do not charge any extra processing, handling or packing fees.That being said - we agree that shipping costs are getting expensive, but our hands are tied.
Delivery estimates are also as per Canada Post - We get your order packed and in the post ASAP, the rest is up to them!
Delivery times within Canada range from 2-8 business days depending on how far away you are located from Southwestern Ontario.
Xpresspost shipping is available for an additional fee. Tracking information will be available within 24 hours of when your package has been checked in at the post office.
We cannot take responsibility for delays as a result of customs, weather, or any other occurrences, we think this sucks too but your package is traveling a long way through many borders - it's bound to take a while.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (U.S.A. and Elsewhere):
All orders to be shipped to the U.S.A. will be sent via SMALL PACKET shipping with an average of 6-12 business days for delivery.
Unfortunately, this standard service DOES NOT INCLUDE A TRACKING NUMBER - You are placing an international order, tracking is an optional upgrade.
If you would like to add tracking and speed up the delivery times the optional Tracked Packet (USA ONLY - 7 Business Days) is available for an additional fee, as well as Expedited Parcel (USA ONLY - 4 Business Days) for an additional fee.
OUTSIDE OF CANADA AND THE UNITED STATES :
All orders to be shipped outside of Canada and the U.S. of A. will be sent through Canada Post Small Packet - International Air.
The delivery times for this method vary (for some far away destinations, or those with notoriously slow mail delivery it can be up to 6 weeks). If you are located on another continent please be patient as it is a long journey through many borders.
Please Note - Once we ship a package without a tracking number we have no way of knowing what has happened to it if it fails to be delivered on time. As such, we cannot be held responsible for any lost or missing packages shipped without tracking. If you are are buying from outside of North America and wish you add tracking please contact us for that quote.
Great Lakes Grooming cannot be held responsible for any additional charges that you may incur after your parcel leaves our hands (this includes taxes, duty, brokerage etc.). We apologize for this but it has to be this way.
Once the package has shipped it is literally out of our hands and as such we cannot be held responsible for any damages that may result through shipping.
Refunds, Returns, & Exchanges
If you should notice any damage to your package once receiving it, or experience any issues with our product please notify us as soon as possible so that we may work with you to resolve the issue to the best of our ability.
In the case of either a refund or an exchange, you are responsible for returning the items in their original condition, in addition to covering the return shipping costs, after letting us know what the situation is. Only after receiving and evaluating each item will a refund be issued less the original shipping costs.
We are a small company and the nature of grooming products makes it difficult to offer exchanges, but we want you to be happy with your purchase and will do our best to work with you to find an acceptable solution.
